Ideal for pools, hot tubs and spas. The REDOX BL101 controller and dosing pump is a system designed to maintain the correct pH of pools, hot tubs and spas.
Generally, liquid chlorine is used as a disinfectant to keep the water safe from harmful bacteria. Chlorine, as an oxidant, will increase the oxidation-reduction potential (REDOX) of water when added. When the REDOX value is greater than 650mV, the bacteria present are killed within seconds. The BL101 was developed to be an economical solution to maintain the ideal REDOX value at all times. Simply insert the electrode and injection valve in line with the recirculation pump to dose the chemical
ORP / temperature electrode HI20083
The BL101 uses the HI20083 electrode which incorporates temperature and REDOX sensors and connects to the controller with a single DIN quick connect waterproof connector. The PVDF body of the electrode has a 1/2" threaded fitting for insertion into an in-line "T" fitting or flow cell. The back of the electrode has 3/4" NPT thread for dip/tank mounting. The electrode body has a hex fitting for spanner tightening.

The Quick Connect DIN connector creates a waterproof seal with the meter, making it ideal for reducing potential electrical noise problems at the connection caused by humid environments.
