The HANNA HI711 total chlorine checker is a digital colourimeter for chlorine testing. With the HI711 chlorine meter you can easily, accurately and cost-effectively measure total chlorine.
The benefits of chlorine on water are many and it is precisely these benefits that make the use of this product so important both in drinking water tanks and in the maintenance of swimming pools. First and foremost, it is a powerful germicide, reducing the level of pathogenic micro-organisms in the water to levels that are almost impossible to measure. Chlorination allows the control of taste and odours by reducing them, this is due to the fact that chlorine oxidises substances that occur naturally, we are referring to the secretions of smelly algae and odours of vegetation that is in the process of decomposition; chlorine gives water odourless attributes and favourably modifies its taste.

how is it used?
Designed as a more accurate alternative to chemical test kits, the HI711 provides fast and accurate results in a few simple steps:
STEP 1. Zero the checker with your water sample.
STEP 2. Add reagent to the cuvette.
STEP 3. Insert the cuvette into the Checker.
STEP 4. Press the button and read the results.
