Important remarks on the Chlorine and pH Pooltester (Astralpool)

• Contact of the reagent tablets with the fingers can alter the results.
• Once the tablets are dissolved, the test result should be read immediately.
• To avoid errors in the test due to accumulation of faults, clean the compartments with water.
• Close the vial tightly with the cap and swirl several times until the tablet is dissolved.
• Concentrations of more than 10 mg/l free Chlorine may discolour the colour indicator.
• PH values below 6.8 always produce a yellow discolouration.
• PH values higher than 8.2 always produce a red colouring.
• Water tests with negligible Alkalinity M values can produce false pH values.
