Each gresite plate is composed of gresite of dimension 2,3 x 2,3 cm. They are made only with flat glass and ceramic dye, so that the physical and chemical characteristics of the product are the same as those of glass, offering extreme hygiene.

Supply of the gresite
The HISBALIT border is supplied in plates of 33.33 x 16.66 cm, depending on the chosen format.
Glued paper:
The pieces are glued with kraft paper on the exposed side, therefore, they are not visible at the time of installation.
Preparation prior to the installation of the Byzantine Valance:
Surface preparation:
To achieve good adhesion to the substrate, it must be completely free of dust, grease, paint, efflorescence, laitance, plaster residue, or any other substance that may impair the adhesion of the mosaic. The ideal substrate is a fine render with water-repellent mortar. Both vertical surfaces and floors must be perfectly leveled and smoothed.
It is advisable to use a specific tile adhesive cement for zero absorption products, with mixed and deformable binders. We recommend cementitious adhesives that comply with EN 12004 and EN 12002 C2TES1 standards.
Grouting
We recommend a cementitious-based grout for fine joints, without aggregate, deformable, water-repellent and stain-resistant, complying with the UNE-EN 13888 CG2W standard. All adhesive manufacturers also have a range of colored grouts
Necessary material for the placement of the gresite:
- Toothed trowel with fine tooth of 3 mm.
- Sponge trowel.
- Rubber or wooden block.
- Sponge.
- Glass cleaner rubber
