Protective pool cover
why install a protective cover?
A protective cover is essential to maintain the quality of the pool water during the winter season.
what are the advantages of the protective cover?
Saving
By keeping the water in perfect condition, the cover allows us to reuse the water year after year without having to change it. And it also saves on chemicals as it prevents the accumulation of dirt in the water. Therefore less maintenance is required.
Prevents dirt
Keeps the pool clean by preventing dirt from entering the water.
Its opacity allows the sun to decompose the material in the pool, keeping it clean and crystal clear during the winter.
Safety and protection
The wintering cover not only protects the pool from bad weather, such as frost, but also prevents people and animals from falling into the pool.
The cover includes the necessary accessories for installation:
Adjustable tensioning rubber bands
Included with the cover (white or blue).
10 mm retractable screws for stone
Included with the cover.
Wooden anchors
Not included. Can be replaced with the retractable screws.
Grass spades
Not included. Can be replaced with the retractable screws.
NOTE: The cover has an extra 15 cm on each side to be able to fix the anchors. If you need this addition to be larger or smaller, please contact us for a quotation.
Maintenance advice
For a correct maintenance of the cover, it is recommended to clean the cover 3 to 6 times a year. This cleaning is particularly important to remove any impurities that may block the drains. In the event of snowfall, if it is more than 10 cm thick, the cover should be cleaned immediately.
To maintain safety qualities, keep your pool full, at the same water level as during the bathing season. This will prevent the pipes from bending and possible breakdowns.
