Commissioning
PRELIMINARY CHECKS
1. Check that the mains voltage and frequency correspond to the voltage and frequency indicated on the rating plate.
2. Make sure that the pump shaft rotates freely.
3. Fill the pump body completely with water by unscrewing the pre-filter cover. Make sure that there are no leaking seals or fittings.
4. Put the pre-filter cover back in place and screw it on correctly.
THE PUMP MUST NEVER RUN DRY.
COMMISSIONING
1. Open all shut-off valves in the pipelines, both suction and discharge.
2. Turn on the supply switch. It may take a few seconds for the water to run through the entire length of pipe.
3. Check the direction of rotation of the motor, this should be clockwise as seen from the fan. On three-phase pumps there is a possibility that the motor will turn in the reverse direction, in which case the flow rate will be less than expected. If this happens, invert two phases of the power supply in the connection board.
4. Check that the absorbed current is equal to or less than the maximum current indicated on the nameplate. Readjust the thermal relay if necessary.
5. If the motor does not work or does not draw water, try to find out the anomaly by means of the list of the most common possible faults and their possible solutions provided on the following pages.
MAINTENANCE
The swimming pool pumps do not require any specific maintenance, but it is recommended to clean the pump filter periodically and to empty the pump body during periods of low temperatures through the drain plug.
If inactivity persists, it is advisable to empty the pump of water, clean it and replace the filter cover with vaseline on the rubber seal, making sure that the room where it will be stored remains dry and ventilated.
In the event of a fault, the user must not tamper with the pump. Contact an authorised service centre.

The warranty period is 3 years from the date of purchase invoice of the product.
Under the terms of the standard warranty, all components subject to wear and tear of the pump during normal use are excluded, such as:
