The pH is a very important factor, because certain chemical processes can only take place at a certain pH.

This product is especially suitable for dosing pumps, see our dosing/control section.

For example, chlorine disinfection reactions in swimming pool water only take place to an optimum degree when the pH value is between 7.2 and 7.6 units.

The pH of the water can vary between 0 and 14 according to the established scale.
When the pH of the water is higher than 7, it is basic water. When the pH is below 7, the water is acidic. The ph of water can be modified by the addition and dissolution of acidic or basic substances (ph correctors).
