Alkalinity booster CTX 21

Total alkalinity is the ability of the water to resist a change in pH.
The most characteristic symptom is when the pool water is slightly green in colour, and the chlorine/ph is at normal levels.

what happens when the alkalinity is?

Low (
High (>160ppm) the pH can become difficult to change and scale can form in the water.

how is alkalinity measured?

By means of a specific kit, it cannot be measured by means of the normal cl/ph kit.

how much Alkalinity Booster should I dose?

Add 1.8 kg of product to increase the total alkalinity of 100 m3 of water by 10 ppm, this dosage is for guidance only.

The total alkalinity of the water should be between 125-150 ppm (CO3Ca), and its control will be carried out by means of a test kit once a week.

how is it dosed?

Pour the required dose of product dissolved in water, and spread the solution evenly over the surface of the pool.
