Solution Hanna HI70300M
HI70300M is a storage solution prepared with reagent grade chemicals that can be used to ensure optimal performance of your pH and ORP electrodes.
It is necessary to store a pH electrode in a solution to keep the glass membrane of the pH electrode hydrated.
Do not use distilled or deionised water.
The storage solution from Hanna Instruments is specifically formulated to minimise microbial growth and avoid any diffusion/osmotic effects of storing a probe in a solution with highly concentrated internal reference electrolyte.
Storing your pH and/or ORP electrodes in a storage solution will also keep the junction clear.
Keeping the layer hydrated and the junction clear will help ensure a fast and reliable measurement.
In the case of cleaning the pH electrode in one of our cleaning solutions, we recommend soaking the electrode in the HI70300M storage solution for at least one hour before making measurements.
