Technical characteristics
2 meter pH electrode Hanna HI2114P
A pH probe or electrode with a 2 metre cable used to measure the pH level of water.
PH measurements are carried out by means of a chemical reaction that produces an electrical potential which is read by a special sensor called an electrode. The electrodes are active elements of limited duration and must be periodically calibrated with known solutions (buffer solutions, in this case the buffer solutions pH4 and pH7 are usually used).
Recommendations for use and maintenance(see document)
The following elements should be considered when choosing an electrode:
- Measuring range.
- Temperature.
- Pressure chemical substances present in the process.
- Type of mounting in the system.
